The process of identifying qualified staff into this ultra-modern environment, including teachers and other non-academic team members, is now underway. The sought positions are as follows:

Teachers – of the various relevant subject at Junior School level,
Bursar – with requisite accounting qualification and administration experience, preferably gained in a school setting,
Computer Lab Technician – with the qualifications and requisite experience
Science Lab Technician – with the qualifications and requisite experience

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate in the field of education.
  • Must be registered with the TSC and have a valid TSC Number.
  • At least eight years’ experience in teaching with at least three of those years in administration.
  • Must be versed with basic computer knowledge and skills
  • A person of high moral character and integrity, self-driven and depict problem solving abilities.
  • Must have a track record of good performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Deputize the Principal and act in his/her absence.
  • Teach a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 lessons per week.
  • Chair the Disciplinary committee and enforce discipline in the school.
  • Shall be the secretary of staff meetings and record all the minutes.
  • Will assist the Principal in the preparation of the reports.
  • Prepare the school routine and supervise its implementation.
  • Aid in the organization of the Academic and non-academic events and activities.
  • Will oversee, guide and assist the student council in delivering its mandate.
  • Will be responsible for the Discipline book, Occurrence Book, and minutes of the Students council.
  • Will assist with the supervision and monitoring of the teaching and learning process.

Qualifications

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Will be the head of both the Exam and Timetable committees.
  • Shall ensure that the teachers have prepared and are utilizing all the teaching and learning records.
  • Will be in charge of the organization and conducting of all the internal examinations.
  • Will monitor the quality control measures undertaken by the HODs and report to The Principal every two weeks.
  • Shall make arrangement for replacement of absent teachers.
  • Will be in charge of the teachers’ affairs and welfare in the staffroom.
  • Together with the HODs, will ensure that the teachers have the right workload and subject combinations.
  • Shall collect from the teachers, through HODs the following documents every end of the term: Schemes of work, class registers, record of work covered, lesson notes book and progress records.
  • Maintains up to date statistical records of all academic data
  • With the approval of the principal, holds regular meetings with individual teachers, HODs or departments to discuss performance related issues.

Qualifications

  • Must be a qualified high school teacher with a degree or diploma in the field of education.
  • Must be registered with the TSC and have a valid TSC Number.
  • At least three years’ experience in teaching.
  • Needs to have some knowledge on CBC.
  • Must be versed with basic computer knowledge and skills
  • A person of high moral character and integrity, self-driven and depict problem solving abilities.
  • Must have a track record of good performance.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Subject Teacher

  • Maintaining all the necessary academic records pertaining to his class/subject.
  • Setting the right learning environment and ensuring learner comfort, safety accessibility and readiness to learn during every one of his lessons.
  • Effectively attending to all his lessons and employ all professionalism to ensure individual achievement of the set outcomes.
  • Providing for proper reinforcement activities e.g. notes, exercises, projects etc (evidence for all lessons conducted must be found with the students.)
  • Ensuring proper class control and overall class discipline during his lesson and in school at large.
  • Constantly checking, marking and correcting the students’ books.
  • Conduct examination, mark the scripts, revise and conduct remedial classes where necessary.
  • Organizing and participate in co-curricular activities.
  • Ensuring overall development of the students, intellectually, emotionally, spiritually and morally.
  • Maintaining high standard of performance and ensuring that his subject/class attains the set target mean as amended from time to time.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Class Teacher

  • Must teach the specific class.
  • Maintain all the class record including attendance registers, students’ progress, lesson attendance by the teachers and class diary/journals.
  • Responsible for the facilities in his classroom and ensure that they are at their best possible state.
  • Set and implement strategies to achieve targets related to the individual students and the class as a whole.
  • Know all the students by name, character, background, strengths and weakness in to order to help them improve.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on students’ progress in discipline and key learning areas.
  • Encourage positive competition in his class and also rally them to actively participate in inter-class competitions.
  • Enforce discipline in his class and ensure that they adhere to the school rules and regulations.
  • Continuously guide and counsel the students as a class, individually or in groups.
  • Coordinate class meetings, record the outcomes and address the issues raised by the students.
  • Enhance communication and maintain a good rapport with the parents/guardians of his students.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a degree or its equivalent in the field of finance.
  • Should have CPA qualifications.
  • Minimum three years’ experience (working in a school set-up will be an added advantage)
  • Must be a person of high integrity.
  • Must be knowledge in all the necessary computer packages.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Reports to The Manager.
  • Helps the Manager in preparing the Annual and termly budget.
  • Collect the bank slips for fees, receipt them and follow up on fee arrears.
  • Keep all the financial records of the school.
  • Maintain the school asset register.
  • Facilitate the acquisition of all materials related to teaching and learning, either directly or indirectly.
  • Supervise and Monitor the utilization of the acquired school resources.
  • Advice the manager on cost cutting measures without prejudicing the quality of teaching and learning process.
  • Preparing all school payments, receivable and payable, at the end of the month and remitting them on time after signing by the Manager. This will include and not limited to salary and personal emoluments, utility bills, government requirements like PAYE, NSSF and NHIF etc
  • Availing the school records for auditing as and when required

Qualifications

  • Diploma in nutrition or its equivalent
  • Certificate in guidance and counseling will be an added advantage.
  • Must possess basic computer knowledge
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a busy institution.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Shall be in charge of all the cooks and kitchen hands.
  • Shall prepare a duty roster ensuring that the staff under his/her care get their off days without interfering with the school programs.
  • Shall be responsible for all the kitchen and dining hall resources and materials.
  • Shall, in consultation with The Principal & Manager, prepare a cost effective meal schedule that will ensure students’ dietary and health needs are met
  • Shall keep proper records of all the foodstuffs and other items in the kitchen store.
  • Shall prepare requisition for the items needed in the kitchen and follow up to ensure they are availed on time.
  • Will ensure that meals are served on time and that all the students and staff receive their fair share of the served meal.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree In Computer Science or its equivalent from a recognized university.
  • At least five (5)years of work experience as an ICT Officer or Manager in an organization of similar size

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Organize all school schedule and implement ICT tasks, projects and facilities,
  • Ensure the stability and efficiency of all ICT operations within the School.
  • Ensure appropriate and acceptable use of the school network and compliance to the data retention management policy.
